YUMMY GOOEY BROWNIE

y’all… consider this recipe my gift to you because truly it is life changing. we’re all about quality ingredients at wellness chez vous and this recipe is nothing short of that standard. simple, good quality ingredients all in hopes of bringing you a decadent brownie to enjoy without having to settle for crap ingredients that serve no nutritional value. i do put a big emphasis on quality ingredients because i sincerely believe that we as a society have been deeply affected by our nearly constant consumption of overly processed and heavily chemicalized ‘food’. if you are not in a position to financially afford opting for better quality ingredients, this is nothing to feel ashamed of. please reach out to me so i can share some practical advice with you when it comes to making better choices on a budget. AND i would still encourage you to bake brownies from scratch as these will always be of better quality than the store bought alternatives.

INGREDIENTS //

◡ 3/4 cup grade A, organic maple syrup

◡ 1 1/2 cup raw cashew butter

◡ 2 organic, pasture raised eggs

◡ 1 tbsp vanilla extract

◡ 1/2 cup cacao powder

◡ 1/2 tsp baking soda

◡ 1/2 tsp salt

◡ 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

 

DIRECTIONS //

preheat your oven to 350°

butter an 8x8 baking dish or line with parchment paper

in a large bowl mix together the maple syrup and cashew butter. add in the eggs and vanilla extract and mix until all is combined

add in the cacao powder, baking soda, and salt. mix until combined.

add the chocolate chips and mix to incorporate

pour batter into your prepared dish and bake for 30-35 minutes, longer if you don’t prefer a gooey brownie
