WINTER FAVORITES
AU REVOIR 2021.
does anyone want to explain to me how we are already one and done with the first month of the year?? i already want 2022 to slow down. though this month went by far too quickly, there were plenty of favorites that came out of it! keep scrolling to check out all my favorite things that allowed this new year to start strong.
i hope you all had a fruitful start to 2022. now cheers to february!
◡ firstly, i’ve gotta give it to my girl (my papier planner) for keeping this hectic life and scattered brain on track. she’s fun, she’s practical, and cute all while managing my day to day schedule. papier is the planner brand that i opted for this year, and i couldn’t be happier with my decision. you can choose from a multitude of planners, and each one allows for you to customize the cover. if you want to check them out, you can click here to get $15 off your first planner.
◡ next up we have a real hydrating goodie. living in colorado can leave me feeling like a dried up sponge, so what’s a girl to do? well this past month i’ve been using the summer fridays jet lag mask as an overnight moisture mask, and I must say every night that I use it I wake up with glowy, plump, and deeply hydrated skin. there’s a few different ways to go about using this mask, making it so versatile and easy to incorporate in your routine.
◡ this month has been all about the layers, mainly button ups stolen from my husbands closet. 10/10 recommend.
◡ two new milk alternatives that have changed my smoothie game. meet malk and three trees. simple & clean ingredients. nothing artificial & absolutely no BS. all while maintaining a creamy consistency, definitely WCV approved.
◡ one word: humidifier. going back to the dry life in colorado comment, a humidifier has become a nightly must. i recommend this one from amazon it’s functional yet aesthetic, and a great price.
◡ it’s 2022 and comfort and positivity are key. this leads me to one of my best purchases thus far; smiley face slippers.
◡ winter season calls for soup. good soup calls for even better bone broth. naturally i must recommend that you checkout my bone broth recipe to level up your soup game this season. enjoy while you still can & thank me later. :-)
◡ best. lip. balm. yet. are we noticing a pattern? that i’m desperately trying to not be bone dry out here this winter? if you can relate, check out this balm.
◡ cast iron pans are another favorite of january. i’ve been wanting to transition to cooking with cast iron in hopes of wanting to switch to a non-toxic cooking option. i had put it off for awhile simply because cast iron seems really high maintenance and intimidating, but we researched, and we switched, and we aren’t looking back. click here for the pan that we have.
◡ lastly, i leave you with this; rishi, my favorite tea of the moment. lavender mint is key, although they have plenty of great options if lavender mint just isn’t your thang.
